I was surfing the internet one day and I was thinking about listening to my favourite songs. The internet was connected to my brother's PC (even though it's mine). My brother got his own taste of music and downloading certain songs in his PC might cause a cat fight. So, I used YouTube everytime he is not around, listening to Mariah, Celine, Evanescence, Alanis, Sheryl and most of my favourite British bands:)

I was listening to the concert version of From This Moment On by Shania Twain (with Backstreet Boys!) when I realised that there was one song one particular song I like better than From This Moment On. It was You've Got A Way from the film Notting Hill.

Sepet: Baguslah lagu-lagu nieh!
Me: You suka?
Sepet: Yup!
Me: Yeayyyy...thanks.

He smiled at me. That was the first time I gave him a CD. He was not the internet type and he was much elder than me. It was hard to choose the songs that he might like and compiled it in a CD. So, when he approved, I was really happy:)

Sepet: Ni lagu apa?
Me: Notting Hill punya soundtrack.
Sepet: Notting Hill?
Me: Filem...pernah tengok?
Sepet: Tak. Siapa berlakon?
Me: Julia Roberts...Hugh Grant.
Sepet: Romantic?
Me: Haah.
Sepet: Tak tau. I mana la tengok cerita macam tuh kan.
Me: I kan suka cerita macam tuh. (a bit dissappointed,actually)

The player played the first verse. I ignored his last sentence (because I don't want to argue further, otherwise we would end up fighting). I sang the song together with Shania:

Sepet: Hahahaha...(he started laughing and smiling. I continued singing)

Me: (there was something at the back of my eyes. Was it tears?)
Sepet: I memang tak reti tengok cerita macam tuh. But I shouldn't say that to you that way,okay. Sorry.

It's just the way you are (I raised my voice like Shania while looking at him)

Sepet: Huhhh...itu diaaaa....(I loved that northern accent so much!)
Me: Nak hujan dah, B...tengok tu...(I pointed at the clouds)
Sepet: Dari tadi menyanyi-nyanyi.
Me: Tak boleh?
Sepet: Tak sedaplah, sayang...You bukan Siti Nurhaliza.
Me: Yelah...memang. (I was hurt again. This man didn't know how to construct his sentences~!)
Sepet: Because...Siti Nurhaliza won't sing that song better than you.
Me: Dahlah B....jangan merepek-repek dah! Sakitkan hati orang, lepas tu nak merepek.
Sepet: This song was dedicated to me, right sayang?
Me: Tak!
Sepet: Sebab...kalau Siti Nurhaliza yang nyanyi...memang sedap...you pulak...
Me: (I sulked)
Sepet: Suara you tuh, memang tak sedap. Tapi I faham ape you nak cakap tadi tuh.
Me: (silent)
Sepet: I love you just the way you are....(he sang softly)
Me: Ooooiii!!!! (I pinched him)
Sepet: That was a good song.
Me: Kata tak suka?
Sepet: Kalau you nyanyi, I suka.
Me: Apasal pulak? Tadi kata suara tak sedap?!
Sepet: Sebab...those were the most beautiful words I got from you.

This one was not purposely created.
This memory was mine.
It was not between Jebat and Juliet.
It was not between Ronaldo and Rope'ah.
It was between Sepet and Sha.
Good memories are for everyone to share:)
