When I watched The Proposal, I was thinking about one thing:
How different can the westerners be.
Their parents have the tendency of allowing them to have their breakfast in bed. If my ibu finds me eating nasi lemak on my bed, I can deifnitely imagine the consequences:
"Siapa ajar makan atas katil ni?!"
Yeah. I can imagine her reaction and I'm smiling to my dear monitor right now. Whoa....she can certainly buzz my ears with her brilliant voice. Talk about mothers....I guess might be that kind of mother to Orkid one day. I might be the type who's going to say:
"Siapa ajar makan atas katil ni?! Jom makan atas katil mama."
I'm not a good example, right? Hehe.
In movies, when people are serving breakfast in bed, they'll have a stem or a vase of flowers in the tray. Just like the one I'm showing you in the picture. Lots of people perceived that as romantic. I guess, that might be true. I might like a flower on the tray of breakfast.
I want an orchid, and I don't mind the colour. An orchid symbolizes rare beauty and mature charm.
Or perhaps, I can have a purple iris which represents wisdom.
And if I 'm eating my breakfast with Orkid, I'll have lavender on her tray, for the signs of devotion:)
Urgghhh...I'm in my lazy and lovey-dovey mode. Listening to Adam Lambert is not helping me to be in a rock mood.
I better hug my pink pillow right now - dreaming of Jack Bass serving me breakfast in bed tommorrow morning. I wonder what my breakfast will be. Nyuuuuuuummmm....
"Sayang, here comes your breakfast " he'll say while handing me a big huge sunflower.
"Untuk apa nieh?" I'll ask.
"For devotion and adoration that you have towards soccer." Yes, Jack won't say football. He'll say soccer. He is an American, not British or Malaysian.
"Soccer?" I'll ask again.
"Yes, honey. Negeri Sembilan is playing in finals today. They are going to wear yellow. So, a sunflower for the fan." He'll smile atme with his not-so-perfect teeth.
But I don't expect perfection.
Breakfast in bed anyone? What do you want to eat?
